Our 'MARCS' to date

Since the inception of the MARCS group earlier this year, the committee has been active in seeking information and solutions on the next steps for the future of Motorsports in Calgary.

The following are some highlights of what has been accomplished in the short time that the group was struck.
  • Initial meetings have been held with members of the Arts and Sports community to establish interest in a collaborative effort. These meetings have led to the initial development of 3-4 concepts that will be pursued.
  • Meetings with Solid Waste Services have been held to understand the state of the development plans for the SE waste facilities
  • Meetings are proceeding to understand, and possibly collaborate with other emerging motorsports developments.
  • Discussions have begun with various members of City Council to gauge interest in preserving and enhancing the presence of motorsport in Calgary. These meetings are ongoing.
As the group meets throughout the summer, updates will appear on this site.

Below are the links to the Blog, Twitter and email. I encourage you to bookmark the blog site, follow MARCS on Twitter and stay in touch with the group. We will send out and post information as the group moves forward.

We would like to keep all interested Motorsports enthusiats informed on what is going. If you would like to be added to our contact list, drop us an email with your name and contact information.
